Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter, who was born July 23rd 1970 She is an American actor. Cordelia Chase played the role of Cordelia in Buffy the Vampire's supernatural drama (1997-1999) and the spin-off show Angel (1999-04). She also played Kyra in Charmed (2004) as well as Kendall Casablanca's in Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell in The Lying Game (2012-2013) as well as Lacy in The Expendables film series (2010-2012). Carpenter was born in Las Vegas. She is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. Carpenter was also part of a song-and dance troupe that performed in Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter's family relocated to Rosario Beach (Baja California, Mexico) when Carpenter was 15 years old. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. After graduating, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. Carpenter returned to San Diego in 1991 and was employed as an aerobics instructor and videostore clerk as well as a property manager. She was a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football club in the year 1991. In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles.While swimming in San Diego in 1991, she and two male acquaintances were attacked by Henry Hubbard Jr., the former San Diego police officer and serial rapist who attempted to subdue them at gunpoint. Both of her friends and Hubbard were killed during the struggle. Hubbard fled the scene as her fellow comrades were saved. Hubbard was arrested and convicted, and sentenced to 56 years of prison time for several murders. Carpenter brought Hubbard's police-issue flashlight from the beach which he abandoned at the scene and the flashlight turned out to be the most important evidence against Hubbard.
