Rochon has the father of Zelma Staples as well as Samuel Staples. She was born in Torrance, Los Angeles, to Zelma Staples and Samuel Staples. Cerritos Senior High School located in Cerritos California was the place where she graduated in 1982. The actress played Ashley Magnus on the Sanctuary TV series during its initial and second seasons until the show was cancelled. Many fans wanted her back despite the fact that the show was ended. Ullerup was on the show Chesapeake Shores as Bree O'Brien. Ullerup played Maggie Thomas, the estranged spouse of Michael Thomas, in the film about the disaster Asteroid: Final Impact (2015). Since 2016, Ullerup has been playing a regular role as Dale Travers in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films series.
